Slider Images

Hi there,

I’ve recently downloaded a theme called ‘Grow Pro’ and this theme contains a slider feature.

I’m trying to download image for the slider, using an image company called “Dreamtime”. The images I originally downloaded were described as being sized at 800×600, which should be perfect to be used as a slider.

Once I uploaded them into wordpress, the sizing changed and became 231×160. I tried using them in the slider anyway but the image quality was awful.
I contacted Dreamtime and they exchanged for larger sized images (the next size up from before) – 2000×1500

Again, once I uploaded the images to wordpress, the images were described as being 231×160. I’ve tried ‘increasing’ the size manually in wordpress but it’s not working.

Has anybody ever come across this before and is willing to help out a newbie?
