Change the Medium Size values to 700px & 400px under your Settings > Media admin menu, you may also need to regenerate your thumbnails.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello @dawnmariehoward,
Thank you so much for using our theme AcmeBlog and thank you for your answer @themesumo

If the image on the slider appeared blurred, please add the high quality image and use the Acme Fix Images plugin to regenerate the thumbnail. Please have a look here in the documentation to know the details about it. https://www.doc.acmethemes.com/acmeblog/#Howtomaketheimagesizeasondemo?

Hope this will solve your problem. For dedicated support use support forum here. https://www.acmethemes.com/supports/

I did the resize and regenerate, and it improved the ratio, but not fixed. The images are high quality. Any more ideas?

It seems like your site is in Full Width ( according to the theme option of acmeblog ), we recommend you to use image 2:1 for slider post only, also please follow the following method:

    • Go to the Settings, then Media.
    • Set Medium size : 800 * 400
    • Go to Appearance => Acme Fix Images.
    • Check the image sizes( medium ) to fixe
    • Click Fix All Images.

Also we would like to recommend you to keep backup of uploads folder and database before doing this, only if something goes wrong, you can easily restored.

    Best Regards,
