Slider images temporarily not showing

    Hi,

    On a client’s website the slideshow wasn’t showing yesterday. I just got the message today (with a screenshot showing an empty slider), but everything works perfectly now so I can’t see what was the matter.

    Assuming the client didn’t touch anything related to the slider, what could have caused it to not show for a while? I’d like to prevent it from happening again if I can.

    Hi Dvaer, it’s tough to say without seeing the problem first hand. But I would check in a web inspector like Firebug for JavaScript errors, just to make sure there aren’t any conflicts.

    Most likely it is a specific browser issue though, like it may display in just one browser, I would double check the site in all browsers to confirm that it looks OK.

    Yes, that makes sense Josh. Thank you. It’s been a one time thing that didn’t happen since. Should it happen again while I can have a look at it I’ll let you know.
