Slider in place of Image

  • Is it possible to have an image slider in place of the image on the left side of the screen?

    For example, Instead of littering my post with inline images, I want to have a gallery slideshow display on the left side of the screen 9where the static image would be).

    Where there is no slideshow, the featured image would appear as normal.

    Is this possible to do?
