Slider is not responsive on an iPhone 5, and overlapping on iPhone 6

I am running the Weaver II theme, and using the Master Slider widget (image with text to the right) on my front page, https://www.haltonbus.ca
On the iPhone 5, the image is way too large and the text then overlaps the image. Does anyone know how to correct this – perhaps set it so that the image disappears or does not show on an iPhone 5 rather than becoming oversized?
On an iPhone 6 the slider widget looks fine, but it overlaps the page content right below it – the 3 columns right below it. I can add spaces, but this adds a white space on all other devices.
