Slider Issue

  • I followed the documentation step by step to create slider, created category, created posts and assigned them to the category
    went to Appearance – Customize -Theme Settings – Slider Settings
    marked correct on show slider
    added slider title, text , location, chose the category i created before , published the changes
    however same home page appear as what it is, and the slider never show

    Hello,

    To set up the homepage, follow the below steps.

    For Menus setup:
    ================

    Step 1: Go to dashboard >> Appearance >> Menus >> Create a new menu >> Select Primary Menu and save it.

    For Home Page Setup:
    ===================

    Step 1: Go to dashboard >> Pages >> Add New – create a home page and select a template as a Custom Home Page and publish it.

    Step 2: Go to dashboard >> Customizer >> Homepage Settings – Select a Static Page and publish it.

    Step 3: Go to dashboard >> Customizer >> Theme Settings >> Slider Settings – Add slider title, slider text, Slider Background Image, Location Title, Location Category and publish it.

    Step 4: Go to dashboard >> Customizer >> Theme Settings >> Popular Tour Section – Add Section Title, Background Title, Popular Tour Category and publish it.
