Slider loads 2 ways-both wrong

On page load, the slider either displays vertically, or it occupies 2 or more rows. If I refresh the page it resolves for that session, but if I start a new session or open in a different browser, the problem reoccurs. Nothing crashes, it just displays incorrectly until the page is refreshed.
It is in a Windows environment and I’m using the current version of the plugin.
