    Hello – On this retreat page we have a slider at the top which works fine. In the drop down tabs for the Yucatan retreat and Belize retreat they also each have a slider. When I open the dropdown, the slider wont load the images. BUT if you go to a different widow in your browser, or even select the desktop and then go back to the page the slideshow shows up and works fine.

    I’ve disabled plugins and made updates and none of this has fixed the issue. The slider have previously worked with no issues for the first retreat and another retreat, so this can be done. I made a duplicate of the slideshow and replaced some of the images….everything worked well before, not sure what could have possibly changed or be the issue – I would like the sliders to load when the dropdown is clicked open.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @eggsnest do you happen to have Lazy Loading of images on your site? Can you try disabling it for that page? See if that makes the slideshows show up? Thanks!

    I do not have Lazy Loading. The only plugins installed are WP Easy Cart, UPdraft backups, and Metaslider. I’ve disabled them all, added back in one at a time etc. nothing changed.

    Hi @eggsnest

    Lazy Loading doesn’t have to done by a plugin. In fact, it’s most often done by the theme you’re using. Please check your theme settings.

    Hi @eggsnest can you please check if ‘No Conflict Mode’ is enabled from your MetaSlider Admin Page under Developer Options:

    If it’s already enabled and the slideshows still doesn’t show up, please try installing this plugin to test if it will show up if WordPress’ built-in Lazy Load is disabled: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-lazy-loading/

    Conflict mode was checked off already. Installed the wp disable lazy load plugin and activated…..the slide shows still dont show up

    Hi @eggsnest just to confirm, you enabled the ‘No Conflict Mode’ option and it still didn’t work?

    Can you also try making the first drop down open by default so we can check if the issue also happens even when the drop down is open?

    Hi – No conflict mode is enabled for all slideshows on that page.
    I left the first toggle open and the slideshow works and loads correctly.
    Previously, the slideshows would load fine with the toggles closed. They also do load if you click outside the page (to the desktop) and go back to the webpage…

    Hi @eggsnest. Do these slideshows load correctly if you place them outside of the tabs and on a normal blank page?

    That will help clarify if this is a plugin conflict with the code creating the tabs, or a conflict with a feature configured on the site (such as lazy loading).

    yes they work outside of the toggle and also if the toggle is left open. The sliders all loaded and worked fine, in a closed toggle and didn’t have any loading issues. We added an new slideshow to a second toggle and since then slideshows within a toggle do not load.

    however. If you open a toggle and you can see the dots for the slideshow, if you leave the opened page and either click on the desktop or visit a new browser page and if you return to the page with the slide you’ll notice it’s all loaded, no issues. Why does is load if you leave the page and come back

    Hi @eggsnest can you please try adding this custom CSS to your site:

    .metaslider li img {
    width: 705px !important;
    }

    I added the CSS. When added all it does is disply one image where the slideshow goes in the drop down toggle. It’s a stagnant image, not a slideshow, although the dots make it appear as it would scroll since they move but again theres only one image

    Hi @eggsnest thank you for being patient on this.

    You can remove the CSS now and please try adding this JavaScript:

    Thanks!

    Added! It seems to have worked although it’s slightly hesitant w loading the images, not very smooth.

    OK, thanks @eggsnest. I’m glad to hear it’s working again now.
