Slider not appearing

I used to use V-Slider, but I trialed an alternative because fade wasn’t working properly.

Now I hear fade is coming in 5.0 I’m coming back and getting ready.

I reinstalled VSlider via wordpress and set up a new slider ‘main’, with the same properties as I had before.

When I use the shortcode [vslider name=”main”] nothing shows up on my published page.

Did something go wrong with my uninstall?
