    Hello
I’ve just spent ages on a university submission with four slide shows using flexslider and the Architekt theme. All looked great in preview but as soon as I published the first slide show the arrows and bullets embedded in the image top right and the other three only showed a static first image with no navigation. I’ve cleared my cache, I’ve remade the slide shows but it still remains like this unless I change the design (which I would prefer not to). I ran out of time and had to submit the webpage – unfortunately I can’t provide a link until it’s marked. I’m running Tracks as my theme and the web address is https://liza-frank.com. Any clues or ideas gratefully received.
    Thanks
    Liza

  • Hi @lizafrank

Most likely it’s inheriting some aggressive CSS styles from your WP theme. I won’t be able to help unless I can see a URL unfortunately.

It’s a little advanced, but if you “right-click” the element in question you can inspect it’s CSS styles to see what is interfering. Then you just have to add something to counter.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hi @kbat82

Gosh that was quick, thank you!

I’ve just tried the page out on my mobile and the first one behaves the same but the other three work fine. So not sure what’s going on.

When you say the element, what do you mean?

    Thanks again
    Liza

    Hi Liza,

By Element, I am referring to any object on your website, such as a broken arrow or broken caption box. Everything on a website is made up of elements.

I did a quick Google search for how to edit the CSS and this article might help.

If you have a URL for your site I can take a look but otherwise I won’t be of much help.

    Hi @kbat82

I completely understand about not being able to do much without the link but I’m kind of hamstrung about that!

Thanks for all your help and I’ll give your suggestion a go.

    All best
    Liza

    Hi @lizafrank

No problem. Let me know if/when you are able to share the URL.
