• Hi Everyone,

I am having issues with the slider not displaying properly on my main page. When I am in the customize site editor, everything shows up fine for the slider (though the featured images do not show up, they do on the live site), but when I go to the live site, the space where the slider should be is just blank, it does not show anything.

My settings are for latest blog post to display, and images are set. on my test site everything works just fine, but when I uploaded it to my main site (via the standard importer), for some reason the slider broke.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    -Ryan

I’ve also noticed my jump-to-top button is also not displaying on the live site, but is visible when using the customize theme editor…

    Hi Ryan,

I can’t reproduce the problem on my end or on your page. I would recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps.

    1. Use the latest software versions : make sure WordPress, your theme and plugins are all up to date.
    2. Cache plugin : if you use a server cache or cache plugin, please clear it’s cache content and disable caching via it’s settings.
    3. Browser :
    • Check for plugin conflict : deactivate all of your plugins. If it fixes the issue, re-activate your plugins one by one, until you identify the plugin in conflict.
    • User of a child theme : activate the parent theme if you use a child theme
    • Javascript : make sure you did not insert custom javascript code ( like analytics, subscription popup… ), for example in a widget, that could break your site.

I’ve made the site public, could you have a look?

I have this theme activated on two other sites with no conflicts (multisite network) – I am only having issues with my main site, and I cannot figure it out for the life of me.

    Thanks,

    -R

I have the same issue when upgraded to PHP 7.3 which created me a lot of troubles.

The hosting provider gave the following explanation:
” I can see that the given in the header in /home/……./public_html/.htaccess with the following lines:
    Header set Referrer-Policy “”
    </IfModule>

In case that they become commented, it did not give loadable, although it is possible the issue to come from a plugin installed, to give it and reload the lines of the file.”

    Hi Sveto,

Kindly confirm that if you have followed the troubleshooting steps mentioned above? If not, then please follow them one by one and see if they resolve the issue.

    Hi emranemanx,

Thank you for the given advice, I shall follow the steps, once upgrade my PHP version. I think that I found one of my plugin as a very old version which might be the reason for the above issue.

Thank you for the given support!
