Slider not pulling in posts properly?

Hello!

Very nice plugin, seeming to have trouble getting it working though.

I want to pull this category of posts https://www.bricksinthemiddle.com/category/comics/ into a slider on my homepage https://www.bricksinthemiddle.com.

The arrows show up, however the post doesn’t.

Here’s the short code I’ve used…
