  • Had this problem too and given that nobody has replied to you I’ve uninstalled it and given it a low score.

    Bummer, that would be a lot of extra work for me. Thanks for responding.

    Me too in WooThemes Canvas – all the JS and CSS seems to load, but nothing is placed into the page where the slider should be. Uninstalling too, which is a shame as I am looking for a super-simple, very plain slider, and most I have looked at are really heavy on having “themes” of their own.

    Edit: I have noticed there is nowhere to set the options for the slider, so maybe it is an admin page that is not appearing when it should, so I’m missing some settings?

    Edit2: my bad! The Canvas theme also has a menu called “Slides” and I was mixing that up with this plugin. Once the images were set as the featured images to a couple of slides, it all works beautifully.

    It should work if you use this code instead for a template:
    <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[simpleresponsiveslider]’); ?>

    Or the shortcode:
    [simpleresponsiveslider]

    GetManic:
    That is for Simple Responsive Slider plugin, which I tried installing, but it seems the theme doesn’t support it.

    Jason:
    I’ve contacted WooThemes about this issue. I will keep you posted on any correspondence.

    get sure your theme implements the wp_footer() onto your page.
    Otherwise the required javascript is not loading and the slider will not appear.

    OK I will check that, thank you!
