if you still are unable to add sliders please email us at [email protected] and then we will add some images for slider.

@pragyan81 @access-keys This is a very serious question and your answer will be important.

Without dancing around about it, how exactly are you planning on you adding images for this user?

So, this is a problem. I’ve found this topic.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/providing-login-credentials-to-sportsmag-theme-owner/?view=all

I reached out to Sportsmag for support and they responded very quickly – which I truly appreciate. However, they asked for my wordpress login to fix the issue. Although I would like to have the issue corrected, I don’t feel comfortable giving out my wordpress login information. Is this standard practice? Is this how you all normally have your issues corrected?

@pragyan81 @access-keys This is a serious suggestion and I am not being sarcastic or snarky: please consider removing your code from the WordPress repository.

Both of your accounts are now flagged for moderation watch.

You apparently are routinely logging into user’s sites. That’s a very bad thing.

    https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/forum-welcome/#the-bad-stuff

This is what is sent when someone does that.

I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#The_Bad_Stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

Yes, you are not asking for that here. But you’re doing it and that’s bad. So back to my suggestion: please consider removing your code from the WordPress repository. Host it and support on your own site instead. On your own site you can do whatever you like and that’s not the responsibility of anyone here.

Now I am going to go back an redact ever post with an email address in it. Going forward please support your users without taking that step. Or provide a URL to your own forums and send them there. Once that’s done those topics will be closed.
