    As you can appreciate it’s a little tricky to troubleshoot based only on the information you have provided.

    If you are using Events Calendar PRO perhaps you could post a question on that forum (unless you are a non-profit user who received a free license, of course). Can you also describe why you believe The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO are impacting on your slider – or is it only due to the fact that you are now using WordPress 3.7.1?

    Last but not least, what slider are you using and have you been in contact with its author?

    Thanks Barry, I am using Pro and I did post there as well. I have gone back to the earlier version (3.1), thanks to another members recomendation, and it is working again. Others are having the same problem and it seems that the folks at Modern Tribe don’t work on weekends and holidays. It was a good thing that my hosting company Blue Host was and they helped me through the problem. They are working on the problem now, so I’ll just sit tight and wait for the fix.

    It’s looking now like issues with a number of sliders have been compounded by a separate problem with tags. So, it could definitely be worth trying the following fix: please add this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file (noting that, generally speaking, the initial <?php tag will not be needed since your functions.php file probably contains it already).
