Slider not working – Default template

  • This is an existing site – it used to have a slider and then underneath the slider the Home Page text. I recently changed the images and the slider stopped showing.

    The homepage is set to DEFAULT TEMPLATE

    Hello,

    were you using the themes built in slider? this only works with the custom home template.

    Yes, the built in slider.

    I took over the management of this site from someone else. The home page was Slider, with normal page text underneath. I removed the slider images & then uploaded some new images & the slider disappeared. When I read up on it, I categorized the images correctly… but the page doesn’t look the way it did. I’m not sure how the previous designer managed to get the slider with normal page text underneath…

    I can send you a screenshot of how it looked – but I would need an email address.

    Hello,

    you will have to be using the custom home template rather than the default one before the slider will appear.
