• As the title says, the slider on the home-page is not scrolling for me in Chrome when I click the arrows. This is true of both my webpage and the Hueman demo webpage (in other words it’s not my site that’s the problem).

…Which is odd because I seem to remember it working for me a month or so ago on Chrome, but I don’t remember updating. Anyways, worth checking out.

Does work for me in Firefox and IE though.

  • Hi Josh. You mentioned “worth checking out” but didn’t post a link to your site. What version of Chrome are you using? How about other pages with sliders (msn.com, yahoo.com); do they work with Chrome?

I didn’t post to my site because this is also true of the live demo on Alexander’s own page (https://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman).

Let’s see, my Chrome version is… ah 39.0.2171.95.
Haven’t been having any trouble with any other sliders on webpages. The yahoo ones for instance works fine, news.discovery.com is good. Just Hueman’s.

Interestingly it does work on my android chrome’s browser, just not windows tablet. This may be a windows 8.1 thing. Chrome has done some odd stuff for me before while playing ball for windows 8.1

I’m not using 8.1 so not sure how much more I can offer.

I did try relaunching chrome in windows 8 mode and didn’t see much difference. Maybe the OS is the culprit, but that might still be something work looking into.

I’m experiencing this same thing (and so is a client now) where the slider controls don’t work. I’m using Chrome Version 42.0.2311.90 m (64-bit), and I’m also on Windows 8.1. It’s like something is triggered in Chrome or the OS that causes the slider to stop working wherever I see it (on my site AND on https://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman, just like Josh experienced). Also like Josh, it works fine in any other browser.

I don’t see any errors in the webdev tools console.

Is the flexslider on this theme based on the WooThemes FlexSlider (https://www.woothemes.com/flexslider/)? If so, it’s interesting to note that the demo on their site does work for me.

    Hi Jan,

So sorry! Every time I posted, it immediately disappeared, so I thought my posts just weren’t saving. Didn’t mean to re-post so many times.

Will open a new topic, thanks!
