    Hi,

the front page slider doesn’t seem to be working in my version of Google Chrome. Firefox works fine.

Thanks for one of the best themes I know (including ones that cost money)

  • Hi Jonas,

A link to your site will help us to help you. It’s difficult to say what might be causing the issue without being able to recreate it. Feel free to provide a link to your site and I’m myself or someone else would be happy to take a look at it and see what we find.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thank you for the quick answer. This is my site: https://www.ujora.de
I thought it might be a known bug ??

    Best,

    Hi Jonas,

I looked at your site in three different browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Chrome; all for Mac) and I don’t see the slideshow in any of them. Are you sure you have the slider activated and enough featured Posts to make it rotate?

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help so far.

    Hi Christi,

I’m sorry I had the slider deactivated because I was trying something. It’s back on now, still not working in Chrome.

    Thank you for helping me.

I also tried reinstalling Chrome and executing it without extensions to make sure it’s not a local browser problem…

    Hi Jonas,

Thanks for re-enabling the featured Post, I can see the featured slider now in all my browsers and it works correctly for me. What’s not working for you (what’s happening in Firefox that isn’t happening in Chrome)?

    Hi Christi,

thanks for taking a look. At my end the slider isn’t working in Google Chrome, meaning, there is no way to “turn pages” or better: switch through the different topics manually. I just found out how to turn on auto-progress so the problem isn’t that important anymore – plus since it’s working on your end I guess it’s a local problem after all.

Thanks a lot for your help ??

I can confirm that it is working in Chrome 38.0 and can “turn pages” manually.
