Slider on Home – Want to add Blog Page

I am using a great wordpress theme (Coller) that allows me to put a slider on my front page (www.blissfulexistence.us). I took the blog out because I wanted it to be just a website. Now my client would like to add a blog page; however, when I create my blog page and change my settings so that posts go to the blog page, the posts are also showing up on my front page because my front page isn’t an actual page. When you are on the site you can see that the home page is just blissfulexistence.us without an extension. Does anyone know a way around this? I would create a new “home” page but then how do I get my slider on this page? Maybe a plugin? Thank you in advance for your help!
