Slider on homepage only Shuttershot Theme

I am using the Shuttershot theme and would like the full size slider on my home page only. All other pages I would like a white background. Can’t seem to make the correct changes in the header.php
I have changed is_singular to is_home but not a fix. Any Ideas?
