Slider Options

  • Hey,
    I use the slider on the main page. However, I want to change the animation from “slide” to “fade”. How /where can I do this? I even would like to change the time/speed.

    Hi Theresa,
    You can simply do it by editing the thbusiness.flexslider.js file which is in the “js” folder. Change animation: “slide” line to animation: “fade” to fade the slider. You can simply change the speed also. But fading slider runs into a small problem. Please change your file after the next theme update which will be coming very soon.

    Okay thank you! So, after the theme update I can change it to “fade” and it will cause no problems, right?

    I recognized another problem. The slider adapts responsive in size, which is very nice. However, on really big screens the slider gets soo big, that you can’t see anything else anymore and the pictures get blurry, as they’re not made to display at that size. Is there any way I can define a max. width for the slider, so that it’s still responsive until it reaches the max. size?

    The slider is indeed too big.
    Did you find a way to center it and have smaller images?
    I can’t find the file to change the container feature.
