Slider Question

  • Hi,

    First I want to say that this is one of the best themes I’ve ever seen. I’m really grateful that you’ve released a theme like this for free.

    Now to my question.

    I want to make the slider button to send visitors (who click on it) to a landing page and not to a post. Is it possible? I guess it is, but I have no idea how to do it.

    Your theme is still new, but I’m sure that a lot of your future users will want to do the same thing.

    The theme is perfect for personal and corporate websites and a lot of people will want to send their visitors to a landing page (not a post).

    I think it would be great if you add that option in one of the future updates.

    But for now, can you tell me what I need to do to enable the slider to take information from pages rather than posts? Or just change the button link. So when someone clicks on it, to be sent to a particular page and not to the post in the slider.

    Any suggestions? I know I’m asking for a lot, but I’m sure the answer to my question will help many other people in the future.

    Or at least tell me how to make a specific post full-width without a sidebar. It will also do the trick.

    Thank you for the appreciating the theme.

    Currently, benevolent doesn’t provide the feature to link Slide to other page than the post itself.

    We will include this feature in premium version of Benevolent theme, which we are expecting to release in 2-3 weeks.

    You could create child theme and customize your theme to add feature to link slider to other page. This will require quite some programming.

    Currently, Benevolent doesn’t support full width posts and pages. I have noted it down and will add this feature in the next update of Benevolent next week.
