Slider Required

  • I have spent many hours looking for a *free* slider plugin for a site I am working on that will allow me to create x number of slides with a set of images on each slide together with some formatted text.

    An example of what I am trying to achieve can be seen on visionfive.zilla-consulting.co.za where you will see on the home page each slide has a set of images with a quote below it. The way it is achieved on this site is, from what I can tell, a custom post type is created and within each post the images and text are formatted accordingly. The slider is done using Flexslider.

    i have looked at flexslider but with my limited knowledge on creating post types etc. it is a little beyond my capability.

    Is there a guide I am not finding that would help me to create the necessary post type and get the flexslider working?
