Slider Revolution Error

  • I have installed a widely used plugin called Slider Revolution to the site I am developing, however when I go to use it I receive a particular error message.

    “Slider Revolution error: could not unzip revslider/public/assets/svg/svg.zip into the uploads/revslider/assets/svg/ folder, please make sure that the uploads folders is writable”

    How do I make a folder ‘writable’?
    Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
