    Hi,
i am driving crazy, don’t success to fix the problem,
i have a slider in my homepage with two slides,
the slider position is “HOME 4”

each slide has its own image and text,
however both images are of the same resolution,

for some reason, the slider decides to contract or expand a little bit
on each slide, since the images are the same, the problem is the text.

if i put the same text, the size of the slider is the same, but if i change the text, then one slide makes it expand its size vertically a few pixels,

so i guess the algorithm to decide where to cut the preview text is the thing failing?

how can i solve this so it has always the same size? its a problem because there is another widget on HOME 6, and everything is moved up and down when the slider expands/contracts

    thankss

local server right now, but i recorded a short video in case it helps,

Thanks, this doesn’t have anything to do with the image size. Please be aware that the height of the slider always adapts based on the height of the content in the slider. Due to different length of words, the 2nd slide on your site needs more height. This is normal.

Actually Home 4 isn’t really suitable for a slider due to the small size of the widget area. People usually place the slider widget either in Home 1 (Full-Width) or Home 2. You can also see that in the theme demo, where the slider is placed in Home 2.

i am using it at Home 2 already, but i needed something to rotate last posts in another zone of the page, so the slider was the single option available,

i guess there so no way to make it crop words to keep a constant height?

how its determined the way it crops right now? maybe after the first 25 words or so?

The excerpts are set to a certain number of words. You can control that in your WordPress dashboard under Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => General.

And no, you can’t have a fixed height out of the box. This also wouldn’t make sense since the theme is fully responsive and the layout automatically adapts based on the screen size of the user.
