Slider Stopped Showing

    I’m not sure exactly when it stopped working, but the slider for this theme stopped working on my site. I’ve spent a couple days now trying to figure out if there is a plugin interfering or if I somehow changed the settings without realizing it; but I can’t seem to figure it out. Any help on why it stopped working and / or how to get it working again would be great.

    The category I use for the slider is “Featured”. The link is at https://theinvisibleauthor.com

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    It is happening on your shared site because of the following error message occurred on your site.

    Uncaught TypeError: e(...).flexslider is not a function

    This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

    Specially this may be because you disabled right click on your site using some javascript code.

    Hi again; thanks for the reply.

    I deactivated and deleted the copy-protect plugin (which was disabling right click and text-select) and that didn’t help. So I deleted that.

    Then I did a select-all and deactivated all plugins (there are 22 left) and the slider still did not start working. So I cleared my cache (just in case) and it is still not working.

    You know what — I found it. On a whim I deactivated a sidebar widget that included a signup form for my newsletter (it was the only other thing that had any sort of javascript in it) and now it is working again.

    So I guess now I just need to figure out how to get my signup form for my newsletter working without interfering with the slider.
