Slider visible but no products?

I want to pick up featured products in the slider. I have created a new slider and selected ‘Featured Products’. I am picking up the shortcode in my template by <?php echo do_shortcode("[wpcs id='59']"); ?>

But all I get is this https://postimg.org/image/7p60lekcv/ so it displays the slider but there is nothing in it even though I have 5 products set as featured (with the star highlighted on the products)

Any idea why this would be?
