    Hi,

I got an SSL certificate, installed it properly etc, and the site gives a partially secure warning, BUT when I disable the sliderWD plug-in, then I have full HTTPS (nice green lock, no warnings)

I think this is because back when I made my slides I had not yet had the SSL certificate etc.

Do I need to totally remake my slides?

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Dear MikeAtBrashMonkey,

The image URLs are being used with the plugin. Thus if those are created in advance, they will use http and not https for URLs, Thus you will have to recreate the slides. If the number of the slides is large, we will suggest you to contact us and we will help you out to generate a Query to replace existing http URLs with https. Thank you.

But I picked every image later in all the slides and chose edit image and reselected the images, which now had and listed the https url and resaved. It’s still the same problem…did it not actually replace the URL’s because the image files were the same? Do I really need to re-up-load all my images into the media library?

If you’re willing to edit my actual files to fix the URL issues via a Query, I’d rather dontate 20 USD if you’d instead add a feature to the plug-in to auto update all image references to https.. This way all users who run into this issue in the future will have a convenient solution. If that’s not possible for some reason, then please do tell me where to email my url and log-in info or whatever info you need to resolve the issue via Query.

You can email me at [email protected]
    Thanks
