  • I’d like to know this also. I have a Welcome page that tells about the books I have read and reviewed. I like to have the slider plugin to work on the right half of this page with the text on the left.

I’ve tried using a table but the slider shortcake doesn’t work in the tables.

    Please answer.

    Hi there,

You could something similar by adding the whitespace into the image and then customising the caption using CSS to appear within the whitespace, but there’s no built configuration tool for this in the free version.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Thanks. Is this capability in the paid version?

Yes, there’s an editor where you’re able to add elements and position them accordingly.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Ok, I bought the $19 version. I still can’t figure out how to get text on the left side and a series of book covers on the left.

The text should say static, i.e., doesn’t change while the slider will have several changing book covers.

    Isn’t this possible?

I tried putting the text in a two-column with the slider in the second column but that doesn’t work either.

    Hi there,

Thanks for upgrading – could I ask you to submit a support request via our website: https://www.metaslider.com/ along with a link to your site?

    Thanks,
    Dave
