    Thanks! Glad you are finding it useful. I am aware of this issue. It’s also been reported here. I’ve not yet added support for them to show in that dropdown. I’ll look to add that in soon. Though they don’t show, you can still grab the field ID and utilize its merge tag.

    e.g. {:14}

    Hello,

    This approach doesn’t seem to work, or I don’t know how to properly use it. I have a numeric field in which I’ve enabled calculation. My fields 1, 2 and 3 are sliders and have defined default and slide values.

    My calculation is as follows: {:1} + {:2} + {+3}

    Yet the numeric field always shows 0.

    What to do?

    Thank you.

    Ok, got it.

    The merge tag needs the form label as well, for example {My almost too awesome field:1}

    Thanks, sorry for not trying hard enough before asking. Self-doubt always sets in after an hour or so.

    I often find plugin docs to be disorientating, written by the ones who wrote the plugin. I’d like to have seen something like my example above and I’d instantly have known what to do. Instead there are steps from 1 to 10 and not one of them seem to specify the syntax so that a lowly non-tech guy could understand.

    I would make everything so much better and be awesome at everything.

    Yeah right. ??

    Cheers, bye. Problem solved.

    @jpontinen thanks for reporting this and tracking down the solution! I wasn’t aware that the label would be needed in this instance. In most other places throughout Gravity Forms that label is optional for merge tags. I’ll see if I can reproduce on my end. Cheers!
