Sliders not working after upgrade to WP 3.9

    I’ve tested all plugins and it is wp-ecommerce. When active, the Featured Slider doesn’t slide. Only the first slide shows. No nav, no movement.

    It also breaks the prima-multislider Latest Products slider.

    Both are on homepage.

    I’ve tried wp cache using minify and turning it off (as well as disabling entire cache plugin).

    I’ve tried updating jquery to latest version using jQuery Updater.

    I’ve taken over this site from an incompetent, so I may have missed something obvious as I’m still exploring the backend, but I figured I post the question in case somebody else has run into the issue and already has a solution.

    Sorry to hear you’re having an issue, have you contacted the developer for the Featured Slider plugin?

    The slider seems to be embedded as a function of wpecommerce. If this is not the case, then I’m highly confused. It’s a flexishop theme using wpecommerce. Maybe the slider is part of flexishop v1, but those developers flaked and aren’t supporting the theme anymore so I’m at a loss… (yes, i submitted a ticket last week to them, but they haven’t responded)

    I just LOVE taking over someone else’s mess and having to completely deconstruct a site to figure out how the idiot put it together.

    So I have same your problem.
    I using flexishop v1.2.4 theme and after update, images in single products page not working.

    was there any update to this? I’m having the same problem.

    Hi guys,

    So sorry to hear Flexishop isn’t supporting their theme any more. That’s incredibly frustrating. I can confirm, however, that WP eCommerce does not have any slider functionality in core, and as such, would not be responsible for this issue.

    Let me know if you’d like some recommendations for alternative themes.
