Slides show on site, but not in wp-admin

I’ll be redoing the slide manager display with lazy load instead of pagination for the next release and hopefully this problem will go the way of the dodo

I would help, but unfortunately can’t touch my slideshow right now (it was for a job application, still waiting word on it). I had to spend so much time screwing around with the settings to make it look decent (ie. stupid arrows not covering the graphics OR the text), that the prospect of having to do it over again – especially with something this important – is a no-go for me.
