Slideshow and Gallery for WordPress 3.1.2 with PHP 5.1.6

    Can anyone tell me which plugin I should use to achieve slideshows and galleries with this WP version and PHP version.

    Went round the houses installing an old version of NextGen Gallery only to find it screwed up my Edit Page….so back to square one.

    Can’t use WP basic slideshow as not available on my version.

    Can’t upgrade due to PHP also requiring an upgrade – both WP and PHP being run from my Host’s server, i.e. not ‘mine’ to change?

    Gave up – just went back to next gen 1.7.3 and then activate/deactivate the plugin when i need to edit the pages.
