slideshow images a URL link?

  • Baffled that this simple solution is not just a normal feature of this great plugin.

    I simply want my slideshow images to link to different pages within my site. I have tried adding the NGG custom fields plugin and modifying the main plugin core files (which I hate to do) and have spent almost 2 hours searching the web for solutions…

    PLEASE tell me there is a simple solution for this??? Seems like it would be a common request, but apparently not.

    and to be perfectly clear, i’m wanting this functionality on my SLIDESHOW, NOT on a GALLERY.

    I am looking for the same thing and I can’t figure out how to do it. I found a hack for the old NextGEN but not for version 2. I can’t believe they don’t include a way to add urls to images
