Slideshow intermittently working

  • Hi, I just downloaded and installed the Arras theme on my blog and am having some problems with the slideshow. It works fine with the default settings, but when I change the “News Category” in the “Categories” option tab of the configuration menu to anything other than “All Categories” the slideshow stops working. If I set it back to “All Categories” the slideshow starts working again. Any help would be appreciated.

  • I am having the same problem now, but has only risen after updating to 2.9.2.

    For me, the images are not captured from the blog post. So the front page slideshow has no image, just a title of the blog post.

    This was when I had used an external host for the image which is clearly visible in the blog post entry but not shown in the slideshow strangely.

    Any fix for externally hosted images?

    Where is the designer?

    I am also having problems at https://www.exnol.com

    I changed the featured slide-show category to ‘featured’. Everything was fine. Then one fine morning the slide-show is not auto playing. I cannot find whats wrong. can somebody please help?

    Hey, there’s a forum for this theme. I would suggest visiting the free support forum if you’re having problems.

    I used this theme for a month without any problems and it was my first wordpress install.
