I have used this slideshow many times and never had this problem. I added a slideshow to the front page to span the entire width. I made several changes to the CSS, checking in Firefox as I went. When I was finished I looked at it in IE v 11 and the slideshow has made the site wider by about 12%, adding blank space to the right. I removed the slideshow and everything was fine. I added it back and reverted to the unmodified Light CSS and the problem was still there. I then turned off all the plugins, problem was still there. It looks fine in Firefox and Chrome but shows up in IE, What can I do to correct this?

    thanks,

    Dan

  • Hi Dan can you reset the plugins css to its default values. Make sure you have the following options enabled.

Enable responsiveness (Shrink slideshow’s width when page’s width shrinks)

Test again to see if it looks okay in IE 11. If it doesn’t can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fifteen. View your website using IE 11, see if the issue is resolved.

After following your instructions I find that the problem is with the theme. I use the Atahualpa theme and never noticed a problem before but never had the slideshow be 100% of the page width, actually I have used the slideshow with Atahualpa many times. How can I correct this problem to work with the Atahualpa theme? It looks fine on Firefox and Chrome. I have already done quite a bit of work with the theme and also with the CSS of the slideshow so I do not want to scrap either one.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Hi Dan, your best option is to get in contact with your theme developers. They should be able to provide a patch or some tweaking option.

Since this is a theme issue and not the plugin can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you
