  • Hi Donna,

Please check your css code or your theme. Something is changing the display style to “none”. That’s because your gallery is not displayed.

Thank you for your prompt response.

I’ve looked at the style.css file and don’t see the word “display” anywhere in the code other than in comments. Same with the slideshow.php file.

I should say that I’m not a programmer. Any other suggestions?

Seems unfortunately this is one of those typical Themeforest themes which inserts paragraphs everywhere in the code of anything on the page.

    See this, please: https://goo.gl/gf054p

Most of those themes allow you to put [raw] tags around 3rd party shortcodes. So [tribulant_slideshow gallery_id="1"] will become [raw][tribulant_slideshow gallery_id="1"][/raw]

Let me know if that works.

    Fraid not.

I added the [raw] [/raw] tags and republished. The browser display looks the same as before. Interestingly, when I look at the source code, I don’t see the [raw] tags, even after clearing my cache.

Thanks for persisting with me. Should I just start over with a new plugin or am I likely to run into the same problem again?

    Thank you for your response.

Right now the shortcode isn’t parsed: https://goo.gl/Ug9uI1
I think the [raw] tags were incorrectly inserted.
