Slideshow obstructs menus
-
Hi,
USING: I am using WP 3.5.1 and WPPA+ 5.0.9. I observed the same behavior using WPPA+ 4.9.18.
INTRO: I have a menu with several items. Some of the menu items have submenus that appear when one hovers a mouse above the corresponding menu item.
ISSUE: When I go to a page with an album, at first the album cover is displayed. When menus are traversed, they appear correctly on top of the album cover. When I select “view photos”, I can see a grid of all album photos and the menu visibility when traversed is still correct.
However, once I start a slideshow, the current photo (the one that is full-size) obstructs lower portion of the pull-down submenu when the menu is traversed.
The little frame with album/photo path and the little frame with slower|stop|faster behave correctly i.e. the submenu is displayed on top of them. It is only the current full-size photo that obstructs the submenu. This is undesirable behavior because it prevents one from reaching the lower portion of submenus.
BTW even after stopping the slideshow, the current photo keeps obstructing the submenus. That is, the current photo obstructs the submenu all the time, not just when it is being redrawn.
EXAMPLE: Go to https://www.benequidem.eu/galleries/prague/ and then hover mouse on top of the middle menu item labeled Galleries. A submenu will appear. Noticed that the last (bottom-most) item on the submenu labelled Family is partially obstructed by the current photo of the slideshow.
NOTE: This may not necessarily be an issue with WPPA+. It could be something more generic.
