Slideshow position on blog/homepage

I love your plugin. Very simple to use.
I’m using the Canvas theme and my homepage is setup as the blog. The template has a sidebar, and what I want to do is put the slideshow at full width (960px) above the blog (Or below the nav).
Here’s what I have now:
