• Ok I am using WordPress 2.7.1, and NexGen 1.3.5.

I am/was getting the error “The Flash Player and a browser with Javascript support are needed.” I’m going to try to explain what I’ve tried and how it affected it so far.

I was getting this error both in IE and Firefox. I then noticed I needed to update Firefox to 3.5. After doing so, the slideshow would work in Firefox only. I then made it so, people can click on [show slideshow] to go to the slide show, then [show thumbnails] to go back. When I did this, the slideshow stoped working all together in Firefox, even after disabling this option.

I have done a search on Google as well as on the site, and found some information which I have tried, involving added to the header.

I am now at the point where I am only getting the thumbnails in Firefox, and the thumbnails and the error “The Flash Player and a browser with Javascript support are needed.” in IE 8.

Any help on how to solve this would be great, as I want to add a slide show to each of my galleries along with my home page. Thank you.
