I recently added the sideshow using the shortcode to my homepage. However, when the screen is minimized, the slideshow doesn’t adjust automatically, you have to refresh the page for it to work.

However, when I use the php code, it resizes automatically.

    any suggestions?

The slideshow from the shortcode probably is in a different element than the slideshow from the PHP snippet. This would explain the difference in behaviour.

It sounds like the element the slideshow is in gets a predetermined width when the page loads. Could I perhaps see your website?

Thank you for replying, the site is not online yet. The theme I am using is the Responsive Themehttps://www.ads-software.com/extend/themes/responsive

I am using the Slider in the featured image box, so it could be the predetermined width issue, is there a work around for this?

btw, thank you for such an awesome plugin (truly the best slideshow/slider plugin) and for your quick support.

If an element has a predetermined width, you should look for something that sets this width.

I’m sorry to say that I don’t have the time to test the slideshow with the responsive theme at the moment. I’ll gladly have a look at the slideshow’s width problem when your website is online though.
