slideshow using cropped 960×200 slide

    deleted pics from media library, and then uploaded pics again. then reset as feature image. problem fixed.

    Yeah, WordPress sizes the images when they are uploaded, so if the slideshow size changes you have to re-upload the images.

    All my images were uploaded ad headers and they appear fine as headers.
    Why are they cropped as slides by WP. Is there any other work around? I will have to change twenty some pages plus the slides.

    Try the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. It worked for me, after much hair pulling.
