Slideshow view still broken in version 3.1.12

    This is a follow up on issue https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/slideshow-view-broken-in-versions-3-1-8-3-1-11/ but I can’t reply there because it is locked.

    I am very disappointed that this issue has not been resolved in the latest version, 3.1.12. We now have 5 broken releases with this this bug despite multiple reassurances that development team is aware of the bug and it will be fixed.

    A recap of the issue:
    A non clickable ‘Read more’ is inserted after the content in slideshow view and the last few words of the testimonial content are cut off (presumably to make room for the non-functioning ‘read more)’. The read more is always added, no matter the length of the testimonial content.

    This breaks the slideshow view, so it is a serious bug. The only workaround at this time is to roll back to version 3.1.7.

    Hmm, sounds like the same response as 7 months ago and 2 months ago. It was working fine up until version 3.1.8. Not sure why it’s such a big deal to undo the bug introduced in that release.
