Slideshow with Photo of the Day feature needed (not WPPA)

    I’ve been using the WPPA plug-in for about 1 month, because it has the “photo of the day” feature, along with other great features. However, the “photo of the day” is not behaving correctly and I need an alternative.

    The site I’m working on has a home page with a slideshow where the image changes every 24 hours. The image sequence is based on the monthly calendar, so that on each day a specific image appears. The images are numbered to match up with their calendar date.

    Hard to believe, but I’ve been searching for days, and I’m unable to find a suitable plug-in. Does anyone know of a plug-in?
