Slideshows appear in editor but not on Live Site

Have you tried Steps 7, 8 and 9?

Hi Steve, thank you for the quick response, I did #8 & #9. I am trying the rollback and gone as far as v3.13.1 in 2022, trying various versions and it doesn’t load the sliders.

A good way to see is on the homepage there are two sliders, homepage hero and services, but neither load.

Thanks @simonscowen. In this case, if you’ve carefully gone through the list, the most likely problem is an issue with another plugin.

You said you updated multiple other plugins. One-by-one, try disabling the other plugins you updated.

You’ve disabled all the other plugins? You’ve rolled back MetaSlider? You’ve carefully tried all the steps on the troubleshooting list?

If that’s correct, you may have something more serious wrong with your site. For what it’s worth, do I still a lot of CDN and optimization effects still active on your site.

Hi @stevejburge, everything on the site is operating fine with no serious issues, no other plugin issues server is fine.

I updated the WordPress version in December 2023, did you see anybody else reporting issues?

If I uninstall metaslider and reinstall metaslider will I lose all my slide shows?

No, you will keep all your slideshows.

Thanks for your support @stevejburge, I am going to use some jetpack features as I cannot get it to work. I greatly appreciate your support.

OK, thanks @simonscowen. If you have Jetpack on that site, it has compression and image optimization features that might have caused this original issue.
