    Hi Mike,

    You could check if DirectoryPress has anything to do with it by activating the WordPress default theme. If it works with the default theme, it might be something to report to the guys at DirectoryPress. I myself can’t test it out since it’s a paid plugin.

    If with the default theme activated, new slideshows still can’t be saved, try deactivating your other plugins (while having the default theme activated). Perhaps one of your plugins conflicts with the slideshow plugin. If so, I’d like to know which one, as I then might be able to resolve the issue.
