Sliding Side Menu Problems

I’ve just downloaded and activated the theme, Memory. However, when I add widgets to the sliding sidebar menu, nothing appears on my live site, so currently the sidebar sliding menu (hamburger menu top right) is empty when it opens on clicking it. I’m not sure what I;m doing wrong or if this is just a bug. Any ideas?
