    Hi @mladen100,

The sitemap created by Slim SEO is at yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml. However, when I visit that page, I see it’s redirected to yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml, which is a way Yoast SEO is doing. So I wonder if you’re using 2 SEO plugins? If so, please deactivate other plugins and reset the permalink and try again.

I don’t have any other seo plugins configured. I talked to my host and they dont understand why it is not working either, i mentioned the redirect as well and they told me to ask the plugin creator if it is working they told me they are not seeing a sitemap created by the plugin….

here is what the support team of Easywp Hosting by Namecheap said, “For some reason, mydomain.com/sitemap.xml is automatically redirecting to mydomain.com/sitemap_index.xml. However, it is required to check the sitemap.xml presence with your plugin vendor firstly.” “You may also contact them and ask them to check whether the plugin works correctly on the Nginx server.”

Im not sure what to do they suggested i go back to yoast seo but i really would like to stick with this plugin.

    Thanks for your reply.

Can you try deactivating all other plugins, except Slim SEO; then refresh the permalink and try again? Also, please check the configuration in your .htaccess (if you use Apache) or in your nginx settings (if you use nginx).

And if possible, please post the site info from the Site Health here, so I can take a deeper look.

I tried the plugins but to no avail. It seems that the wpeasy hosting by namecheap might be conflicting with your plugin. i am not sure how to access .htaaccess in my nginx.

Also, how do i send you over my site health?

The .htaccess is available only for Apache. If you’re using nginx, the configuration for the host is in the nginx config file.

Regarding the site health report, is it ok to post it here? It doesn’t contain any credentials.
