Sloooow site… any ideas?

  • Hey guys,

    I have been told that my site is inceeeedibly slow… I’m running WordPress 2.5, I don’t host it myself… you can see it here. Any way I can speed it up – or can you check it out to see if you find it slow?

    Any ideas would be much appreciated.

  • Loaded well for me (I’m in Southern California, USA). Good quality MP3 audio files can be pretty large, so I would guess that’s a big part of your issue. However since your blog is about the music, you’ll just have to make sure you get good service from your host as previously suggested.

    Hey mechx1 – cheers for checking that out. That mp3 player is imported from the Imeem.com site (which is a music site, similar to the likes of musicians on myspace etc) -I might look round for an mp3 player that’s a bit faster loading… (I’m a newbie to all this… can’t ya tell?!!) haha. Maybe WordPress has an mp3 player plugin… hmm… will look into that one!
