Slow admin ajax calls with plugin activated

This can be happening if you create a very large amount of custom sidebars with lots of conditionals and widgets.

Is there a URL where we could see this in action?

Also, how many custom sidebars do you use? Please advise!

We have 16 custom sidebars added with 3 – 4 widgets in each. Would you call that a large amount?

Do you know of anyway to reduce the time or resources used by the call to TheLib::_sess_init

We are investigating and making some tests about the issue, I want to ask one more question. Are you referring the problem happening on all ajax requests on the site or only related Custom Sidebars?

Hi Oguz,

We first noticed a slower wp-admin so started looking through NewRelic to see what seemed to be the issue, thats what brought me to Custom Sidebars seeming to use lots of resources, specifically when calling TheLib::_sess_init

There’s no update from our developers’ end. I’ll ping them again on that, I really can’t provide any estimated time of a possible fix though, hope you understand!
